The BIG 40

Well guess I should talk about my Big 40TH birthday party. It was last October and I had blast. But really for the previuos year (39) I sulked and felt just plain old. Until one day I don't know why I just said I am going to have a big party. I planned and bought all the decorations and had so much fun that when the time came I think everyone had fun. Here are a few pics from that night. My big sister Terri could not make it (she was in another state working) but I know she was there in spirit. If anyone is even getting close to soon turning 40 just HAVE FUN.
until next time...Paula

"My Tooth Fell Out"

Well Jenna's first tooth came out on Monday March 31. She started screaming and was really scared. We got through that episode in the morning then she was really excited about the tooth fairy coming to our house that night. We made a big effort to make sure she put her tooth in the "tooth beary" (thats a stuffed bear with a pouch for the tooth)and to set the tooth beary on her pillow. On to the next morning......Jenna woke up and was really quiet I asked her how much did the tooth fairy give her and she would not say a word.... I finally got it out of her--she was soooo mad that she did not get a bill with a 100 on it (a hundred dollars!!!) I started laughing and told her "if the tooth fairy gave $100.00 for each tooth I would not have any teeth left." She still did not quite understand but put the money in her piggy bank anyway. Two days later Emily lost a tooth and the tooth fairy gave her the same amount as Jenna. She was very glad Emily did not get $100.00

Until next time,
Paula

Welcome, Welcome, Welcome!!!

This is my first blog---so be kind to me, I will try my best. My sister Karen told me to try this and I am. I have a few cousins who want to see this happen also!. Where to begin.... Scott is my husband and he is an Electrician and works very hard to provide for our family. He is usually working in downtown Los Angeles at one or another highrise building. This year will mark 20 years of being an electrician for Scott...boy time does fly.

Myself, I am a stay at home mom (and all the other job titles that includes) but recently I was asked to work from home for a previous employer and I accepted. Yeah!!! So now alot of my time will be sitting here at the computer working instead of playing games ha ha.

I have two beautiful daughters Emily 11 years old and Jenna who is 5 years old. I adore them both but they can be quite a handfull!!!!!! It has been a wonderful experience watching them grow up and learn everything. It is kinda fun to live thru them also. Emily is in 5th grade this year and Jenna is in Kindergarten. I can't believe it is almost summer vacation again. A couple more months to go.

Well hopefully I will be able to post more soon.

Take care,

Paula
